He said, "A cage."
Jere asked, "Where will the cage stay?"
Devin replied, "My room."
"Why do you want a bunny?"
"They are soft and cute."
Of course we told him no on the bunny. He looked so sad.
The next day he asked if he could have a baby duck! "They are so cute and soft." He has been watching Curious George and gets these ideas. Then today he asked to have a monkey.
Since he can't have a monkey, a bunny, or a duck he settles on these.

Every morning when we go on our walk he takes a cup and picks up every roly poly bug he sees. He wants to keep every single one of them as pets.

All of my kIds have collected pill bugs. But I make them keep them outside in the yard. They smell bad when there are a lot of them together. At least they are easier than actual pets. :)
