Raking Leaves

 Andi thought it would be fun to rake leaves to get ready for the trick or treaters and then to have snowball "jump in the leaves"

Trick or Treat

Andi was a peacock, Garrett is a a Yoshi, and Devin is The Hulk

We made 100 bags of treats and set out for the kids to come and get. 

We set outside on this beautiful knight to see all kids in their cute costumes

The kids got a lot of candy.  The boys went with Andi.

And Jenn gave them whistles!!!! Why would she do this to me!

She loved every minute showing off her costume and flapping her wings.  She is so much fun.

Carving Pumpkins

It's Tradition!  You can't have Halloween without carving pumpkins.    

Date Night

 

We went out to dinner at Kitchen 88 which is a healthy restaurant.  Then we went to the Butterfly museum. But before we got to the Butterfly museum, we saw a sign for a hidden waterfall.  We were curious what this was so we decided to walk the path.  It lead to a waterfall and was a great little place. 

Pumpkin Drive Through

Springside did a pumpkin contest where the kids decorated a pumpkin for a class contest.  Then they took all the pumpkins and put them outside for a drive through.   Jennifer helped Andi to make hers into a beautiful unicorn.  

 

Sunrises

 I just can't help it.  I love all these sun rises when the weather turns a little bit colder.  

Fall Break Day 3, Part 2: Pumpkin Patch

 On the way home from the zoo we stopped at Pumpkin Patch to pick up pumpkins.   We got 4 really nice pumpkins.  Andi needed two one for when we carve them and one for the school pumpkin parade.   

Fall Break Day 3, Part 1: Hogle Zoo

 We went to the Zoo today for our last day of fall break.  Garrett didn't come, he wasn't feeling well.  But it was such a beautiful day to be at the zoo.  The weather was a a little cold this morning but we got there when it wasn't very busy at all.   I packed a picnic and we just enjoyed several hours at the zoo.  The giraffe's are always my favorite.  Devin and Andi loves the turtles, Jeremy  enjoyed the sea lion.   Jenn was her dressed as a fox and I think her favorite was the bears or elephants.   Of course we did the train ride and the carousel. 

Our original plans of going to Yellowstone fell through do the bad weather up in Idado.  But I think we made some great plans for this weekend and had a fun time. 

The Zoo was decorated for Halloween.
