Jeremy's Phone July Pictures

I've had a few interesting things happen while the kids were back east.
First, I demolished the deck. It wasn't secure in the ground anyways and so it was a huge safety concern.

I cleaned out the "Just In Case" room and found this little beauty.

I found a serious of notes the family hid for me before they left.

And I decided to share this picture from back in May. In case you can't tell, the left big toe joint has gout. Not fun.

Good Bye

Grandma bought them all slushies on their last day.

It is always hard to say good bye and get on the plane and leave knowing it will be a long time before we see each other again. We had a great trip.  It was too short.  Thank you Mom and Dad and Emily for all the great times.  We love you.

Pictures at the Lake (not swimming)

We went up to the lake and got some group shots with the cousins and the grandparents.  I think we got some cute shots.

At the lake they love to jump off the dock. So I got some fun action shots of them jumping. Plus Andi and Grandpa went out on the kayaks. Andi was on her own kayak and could use the paddle but couldn't control where the kayak went. She didn't want to get off the lake.  She called it her swimming pool.

Glade Springs

We took about a mile hike to see the Glade Springs. Zach knew of this place because he went hiking with his Scout troop. Andi didn't want to walk but it was a nice shady trail that was an easy walk. We were planning to swim at the falls but they were too rapid so we went back down the river and swim in a water hole and the kids jumped off a small rock into the river that was way over my head.

Lawn Games and Legos

We were playing water games and lawn games. Garrett planned the water games for one of his scout badges. Of course it started to rain, so what do we do...have water balloon fights in the rain.

PIE FACE

For Josh's birthday, we got him the game pie face. He brought it over one day to play. Talk about a funny game.
