 They love when you blow bubbles.  They will come and meow at you to blow more.  

Tulip Festival

We went to the Tulip festival again this year.  This is one of my favorite things.  We met Jenn and Livvy, and Ryan, then we had a picnic dinner and enjoyed the gardens. 

 

Easter

Livvy and Ryan came over to celebrate with us.  Livy and Andi decorated cupcakes.  

We decorated eggs and then made Deviled Eggs with them.

And I took some family shots. I had a neighbor come over and get a picture of all of us. 

Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt

This year, instead of a traditional Easter Egg Hunt,  Jeremy and I made a scavenger hunt around the city for the kids.  Each place they got a clue, but before they got the clue they had to complete a task.    At each place, there was a bag of eggs for one of them.

1. Harvest- Make a video of them blowing bubbles in a fun way

2. Shay Park- Silly String Fight

3.  Thunder Ridge Elementary- Play Racketball

4. Neptune Park- Build a gumdrop pyramid

5. MOD Pizza-Eat Pizza

Then we went home and they got to open their eggs and get their candy and money.  It was such a fun afternoon. 

And took all of her eggs and connected them to make a really long necklace. 






 

Coding Contest Winners

This is the fourth year I've held a coding contest for 5th and 6th graders at my school. Andi submitted a project, and she had one of the top five projects. This year's theme was a magical journey. She created a unicorn adventure, getting ready for a party.
