Tulip Festival

 Tulips are my favorite flower.  So I love coming to the tulip festival every year.  We went twice this year.

Tulip Festival

 I got tickets to go to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. I love tulips.  There were still a lot of flowers that had not bloomed yet, so we are going to go back again before the festival is over. 

Coding Contest

 

This was my school winner and the assistant principal.

We had a district-wide coding contest at my school that I ran.  There were 45 students from my school who entered the contest.  It was fun to do this contest.  When asked what was their favorite part, most of them said that they had fun and that I helped them learn.   They then gave me a standing ovation.  It made me feel that what I do is worthwhile. 

Day 6: Last Day, Ocean Beach and Lombard Street

 We had time on our last day since our flight didn't leave until 4:30.  So we got up and went to the beach one last time.  We wanted to walk in the waves just a little bit.  While we were doing this we found sand dollars that were whole and not broken.  We found like 30 of them.  They were so fun to find.  We collected them and brought them home.

After the beach, before we headed to the airport we went to Lombard Street.  Yes, this is the curviest road in the city and yes we drove on it.  It was a fun ride down that street. 

Day 5: Miscellaneous Day

We went to the Water Temple.  Crystal Lake, which you weren't allowed anywhere near it,  to the Randall Museum, and back to Golden Gate Park to play at the Park. 

 

Day 5: The Methusela Tree

We went to another Red Wood Forest area where they had a Methusela tree.  This tree is over 2000 years old.  So it was on the Earth when Christ was here.  It is the biggest tree I have ever seen.  It was so amazing.
