100 Days smarter
Andi is in art class right now and they were listening to the nutcracker and got to create artwork. She painted the background and made the tree and then she got to pick a character from the musical and color her. She choose Clara.
Morning Routine
After getting ready for school, which if you know Andi can take her forever to get ready. But our goal is to have her ready by 7:30 so we can read together every morning and she can work on her math homework which is 2 pages a day.
She has turned into quite the little reader. She is now on Level K: Which is beginning second grade level. I love reading with her every morning and hearing what a great reader she is.

Vaccinations
Jeremy and I went and got our first Vaccination for the Covid-19 virus. We will get our 2nd dose in February. My arms is super sore, but so far that is the only side effect.
Sunrises
I love these sunrises. It helps me realize how much God loves us to share these beautiful sunrises with us.

Art Week
For Art week at my school, I created QR codes for projects the students have created on the computer. They created winter videos on Adobe Spark by 4th graders and they 6th graders created a Scratch Coding Project with a snowman going on an adventure and the 5th graders did a winter scene on google drawing. I printed the winter scenes and hung them around the snowman. I got the idea from the book Snowman At Night. And I printed some of the winter scene
I think it is a cute way to share their computer projects.

Devin's Birthday
He decided that he wanted to wear the crown that Andi got for her birthday to school all day. I think he liked all the attention.
He wanted Oreo Desert for his birthday cake
Since Covid, we now put the candle on the piece that he will eat to blow out the candle. Since we don't want to spread germs to other people. He had a birthday party with some friends the next day.

Missionary Cheesecake
My friend Sara Pitcher texted me and asked if she could bring out family a cheesecake. There was a sister in our ward, Trudy Gedge, who recently passed away from Covid. Sara said that with each of her boys that has gone a mission that Sister Gedge would bring her family a cheesecake to celebrate. So in honor of Sister Gedge, Sara wanted to bring our family a cheesecake before Olivia left for Vegas for her MTC experience.
I will see if I can pass along this tradition to the next family that sends out a child to the mission field.

7th Birthday Party with Grandparents
Andi got a 2nd party with her grandparents and Aunt Jennifer. She wanted calizones for dinner and she helped grandpa roll out the dough and spread the sauce.
She opened presents and got some fun gifts: Bath balms, an apron and chef hat, unicorn paint set, more stuffed unicorns, nail polish. She was so excited about everything. Then once again I made a 6 layer rainbow cake. She loves these cakes. She wanted a rainbow cake with pink frosting and sprinkles.
She also wanted breakfast in bed on her birthday so we brought her favorite breakfast foods, eggs, ham, yogurt, bananas, and chocolate milk. She is one loved 7 year old.
