I got a new doll for Christmas. I really like her. Her name is Casey. She came with 2 outfits. One of her dresses matched the dress that I got. I wanted to get her some more clothes. So my mom and I went to Target. There were two outfits to pick from. They were 17 dollars each. I didn't want to spend all of my money. Later we went to DI to get me some Knee pads for my new rollerblades. We saw some baby clothes. We went and found premie clothes to see if they would fit. We tried on the clothes on the doll. Then we went to Kid to Kid to see if we could find some more. I got like ten outfits for 17 dollars. I saved a lot of money this way and got a lot more clothes.
When we got home my mom and I played dress up with Casey and took picutres of her with all her new clothes.
Here are all of her outfits

Opening presents from Grandma
We made this video for my parents of the kids opening the presents from them. Garrett got a star wars kit, Olivia got 7 Disney princesses, and Devin got a Toy's Story Link Set.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa.
Santa's Sneaky Present
So Santa left a weird present in Olivia's stocking. It was a wheel with letters on it that spins. She thought that it was for her to make secret messages. But after all the presents were opened and we had cleaned up. She was wondering about the wheel. Then she noticed it had a Christmas tree on it. She came and stood by the tree and noticed in one of the little stockings on the tree there was a piece of paper in it. She and Garrett had to decode the message to find a secret present. It told them to look behind the couch. So behind the couch under a blanket was another present. They opened it.
They were really surprised when they saw that it was a DS with with 5 DS games. It was a gift for the entire family. Then Garrett turns to me with a big smile and said, "Santa didn't listen to you, Santa didn't listen to you. We got a DS." Getting a DS is all that Garrett has talked about for weeks.
That Sneaky Santa I will have to tell him a thing or two.

Opening the Presents
The first presents
Devin loves to draw. This is his new aquadoodle. He loves it! The cool thing about these is the paint is water so no mess.
The kids love Mario and Luigi
Garrett has been wanting a scooter of his own so he doesn't have to use Olivia's pink one.
Olivia's big box there is roller blades. She has been wanting these since July.
Christmas Morning Pictures
Stockings From Santa
Garrett trying to sneak in through the garage to get his Christmas presents.
Coming up the stairs so excited
Devin not quite sure what is going on.
Santa brought everyone a movie this year.
Olivia loves her new doll. It matches her new dress.
Santa brought everyone Hex Bugs. They are super cool!
Playing with his Army Men before Breakfast and opening the rest of the presents.
Our tradition is that the kids get to get into their stockings from Santa as soon as they get up. Then we go and have cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate. Then we open presents.
Christmas Eve
We have a couple of Christmas Eve Traditions.
1. We make cookies for Santa and set them out.
2. We watch the Nativity Story that the church puts out
3. We sing Christmas Carols
4. And We let the kids open one present early: which is pajamas. (Makes for cuter pictures the next morning)
As you can tell they are so excited.

Gingerbread Houses
Doing Gingerbread houses is one of our traditions. We get milk cartoon, graham crackers icing and lots of candy, way too much candy, and have fun decorating the houses.
This such a fun and sweet tradition. No wonder my kids were so hyper last night or maybe it could have been it was Christmas Eve and they were just excited about Santa coming.
