Halloween Celebrations

Andi was tinker bell.  We bought her costume a couple of weeks ago, so she has been wearing it.  She loves to tell you that she is going to be Tinkerbell.  She does make a pretty tinkerbell.

Livvy was Captain America.  Wasn't this the most creative costume.

Garrett was Meg Man X Zero.  Landon and Garrett designed and made their costumes.  They have worked on them all month.

Devin was Peter Pan to go with Tinkerbell.

I was a witch.  Jenn did my makeup.

Halloween is a lot of fun but just for the record: Halloween is not fun on a Monday and having to teach school on Tuesday is definitely not FUN!

Carving Pumpkins

We carved our pumpkins on Saturday when Jenn could come over. The kids love it.

Sweet 16

Olivia turned sweet 16!  She has had 3 parties.  One party with Kurt and Stephanie and their kids, One party with us and Jennifer, and one party with her friends.  She is such a great kid.  She works hard to have good grades, she is a good friend, and she officially now has her driver's license.

She told us that she really wanted to learn to play the guitar.  So we got her a guitar for her birthday and we got her lessons too.  Thank you Emily for the Guitar Strap and thank you Grandma Doolittle for the Selection Series that she has wanted for a long time.   She has had a great birthday week.

Pumpkin Patch

We discovered a great pumpkin patch near in Saratoga Springs not too far from our house. They had some great pumpkins to choose from and they had some fun things for the kids to play on. They had a hay maze, and hay slide, and train ride, and a hay trampoline. Andi loved playing on the farm.  We bought 7 pumpkins and Jenn bought 8 pumpkins.  We will be carving pumpkins this weekend.

My Classroom

I switched schools this year. I am still teaching computers part time. I just needed a change. I applied for this job over the summer. It is closer to home and is it near the other kids' school. Here is my classroom. Jere and I made all the robots. I really like my new school, my new team, my principal.  It has been a good change for me.  Every day when I drive to work now I feel happy.
