After Thanksgiving Tradition
We were so excited about Christmas after our Thanksgiving Feast that we put up our Christmas tree last night. We usually try to put it up the day after Thanksgiving. I don't know who was more excited the kids or Jeremy. We love Christmas. We even changed our play-list to play Christmas music. We have the kids'ornaments in their own boxes so they were super excited to put up their own ornaments.

Yes, we put on the star twice because both kids wanted to put on the star.

Here is our finished tree. Garrett keeps saying how beautiful the tree is.

Beauty and the Beast
We went and saw the play Beauty and the Beast at Lehi High School this afternoon. It was the Disney version so we were familiar with the songs/story. They did a really good job! The props, acting, and signing was all really really good. If you live in the area and have a chance, I'd highly recommend it. Their last show is next Tuesday (I think).

Water Aerobics

We got a really good deal on year passes to the Legacy Center from our schools. So I decided to use the new passes to go to water aerobics this morning with my sister, Jenn. I am really out of shape. I didn't feel winded or anything during the work out but I sure feel sore now. It was nice to go and exercise and it was nice to have someone to go with me but it was even nicer that Jeremy stayed home with the kids. They do this at 8 every Saturday. I am going to try to go.

VOTE

Jeremy and I both took the opportunity to vote today. The voting took place at the local elementary school. I thought there would be huge lines but I guess I got lucky because when I showed up I was the only one there. All day at my school today there were lines around the school. But even if I would have had to wait in line, I would have done it because I believe that voting is an important part of being an American.
Now we wait to see who will win this election and be our next President of the United States.

Olivia's Halloween Program
I guess the tradition for the second graders at Olivia's school is to put on a spooky Halloween musical program. The program was sure spooky! We were impressed with how dramatic Olivia was. She really got into it and did a good job! Garrett thought the whole thing was entirely too loud.
Here is a video of one song they did:
Ravioli Boy
Devin has shown quite the interest in grown-up food. We try to give him baby food, but he usually reaches for and grunts at the food the rest of us are eating. The other day, we were having ravioli and he became increasingly excited about the food. Robin held him in her lap and fed him 2 whole raviolis with sauce (cut into bite-sized pieces). He loved it! He ate more than Garrett. I think the expression in his face came from the fact that all the raviolis were gone and he wanted more.
