Farm Country

For our Family Home Evening activity we took the kids to Farm Country at Thanksgiving point. Andi has all these books with farm animals that I wanted to go and show her the farm animals. She got to ride the pony and pet the sheep. And we even went on a tractor ride. She wasn't too sure about the big horse but we all had a good time.

P.S. Livvy didn't come with us since she went to see the school play to support some of her friends who were in the play.

Student of the Year

Garrett got chosen as the student of the year at his school.  Only one student gets chosen and he got picked.  We are super proud of him. He is smart and and a good student. 

Devin Reading to Andi

Andi loves books and she loves for anyone to read them to her. She can have you read the same book over and over and over and over again. I love when her and Devin read book together. Maybe just maybe Andi's love of books will rub off on Devin.

Livvy's Stake Dance

This is Olivia's 2nd stake dance. We even went and bought her a new dress. She went with her cousin Kathleen. She went to her first stake dance about a month ago but I didn't get my camera out. She loves going to these dances. I can't believe that she is so grown up. Kathleen came over before the dance and they spent a long time on getting ready and doing their hair. They are both beautiful.

Soccer Devin

Tulip Festival

After the soccer game we all went to the Tulip Festival. We met Jennifer and Stephanie and kurt with their kids there. The Tulip festival has a quarter million tulips and lots of daffodils and many other beautiful flowers. It was amazing and wonderful to see. I love tulips. But to make it a festival they had bounce houses and vendors. There were kid games and crafts. It was a great fun day in the sun. We all got a little burnt. We were there for about 3 hours. Andi loved the flowers and touching them but I think she loved running in the open spaces more.

We even saw an Owl nesting as we were walking behind the waterfall.

Devin took his camera and was given a mission to take as many pictures as he could of different flowers and all the different colors.  He took all the pictures below.  He took some pretty good one.

Devin's Soccer Game

Devin wanted to be on a team and play and do something. We signed him up for city soccer. He was so excited about it and kept asking when his first practice would be. He started in March. He has had 3 games now. He loves it. He will even take his soccer ball and go to the park with one of his friends that is on the team and go and practice kicking ball. He tries really hard and runs after the ball. He almost scored a goal yesterday.

He was so excited to get his own soccer ball, a team shirt, soccer socks and shin guards.
