Birthday Parties

We had Garrett and Devin's birthday party yesterday. Devin Wanted a Lego Cake.  I made the the little cakes last week and froze them.  The party was supposed to be last week but everyone was sick so we postponed it.  I made the fondant on the cakes.  I think they turned out super cute.

Garrett wanted a Minecrat cake.   Olivia decorated most of this cake.  She did a petty good job.

We got the boys toy bows and arrows and gave it to them before the party.  Since we didn't want to wrap them.

At the party we ate pizza, did a laser maze in the hall way, played with the parachute, made squishy balloons with play dough, ate cake, played with legos, played minecraft, and watched the Lego Movie.  It was a fun party.  Devin had two friends show up and Garrett had 3 friends show up.

Emily and the Boys

Emily came into town for a Miche Conference. She had Sunday afternoon to spend with us. She had B-Day presents for the boys. They were excited to open presents with her. Thanks Emily Milam. Devin loved his lego set and Garrett really enjoys his Minecraft figures.

Stacking Giraffe

Andi got some stacking cups for her birthday. She can play with these cups for a long time. She loves to tote them around and put things in them. She especially loves to knock down the tower after it is built. It is so fun to watch her explore her world and learn new things.

Bath Time

Andi has discovered how much fun it is to take a bath with Devin. They laugh and play with the toys. It is so fun to watch them play and have fun together.

Fake Person

After we went to bed one night last week, Garrett came upstairs and put together this guy and had him laying on the couch. Jere came out to living room and it was dark and he could see the shape on the couch. It startled him for a minute. Garrett is too funny!

Garrett loves this little girl so much.  I love this picture because it truly shows the joy that they both have when with each other.

Birthday Party

We went to Build a Bear for a combined party for Andi, Garrett and Devin. They each made an animal. Livvy helped Andi make hers.

Then is tradition, we made spaghetti for her first birthday.  She hardly wanted to touch it.  We gave her a spoon and she would move it around with the spoon and then she would try to put the spoon in her mouth.

This was the mess that she made!  Not much of one at all.  I think she has been my neatest kid so far.

Also per tradition,  I made her a bear cake.   I bought the 3D pan and decorated it.  I think it turned out super cute.   But once again she was a very neat eater and wanted to use a fork!

Then we opened presents.  Stephanie and Kirk and their family came over to celebrate with us.  We wrapped all her things in bag and tissue paper since she loves to take things out of containers and put them back in. 

Thanks Grandma Doolittle for the Computer she loves it and Thanks Emily for the Puppy she liked it too.
