Snow Shoeing Up AF Canyon

Quinn and Livvy went Snow shoeing up the canyon.  There was lots of fresh snow to enjoy.

Vegas Trip

Robin got a $50 card from Emily and so Jeremy took the boys and Olivia to the Hard Rock Cafe after arriving in Vegas. Kristi and Matt decided to meet them there. Then, while waiting for a table, Nate and his family decided to join them! Thirteen people, $270.

Jeremy went to Vegas right after Christmas to surprise his parents for a 70th birthday party.  All of his siblings and most of their grandchildren were there.  Andi and I had to miss it but I think the rest of them had a great time and Vickie and Earl were really surprised.

Staying home sick

She mad a castle with new magnets that she got. 

Andi and I stayed home while everyone else went to Vegas.  Finally by Saturday she was feeling a little bit better. He fever was gone and she finally started to play with her new presents.  I took her out to Dennys.   She still had a pretty nasty cough but we are giving her lots of medicine.

Christmas at the Hospital

After an afternoon nap, Andi started having some pretty bad breathing issues. It sounded like she had a ton of fluid around her lungs. Wanting to avoid staying up all night with her, Robin and I decided to take her to a doctor. Of course, all of the InstaCares are closed on Christmas so we had to take her to the emergency room.

Three hours later, they had ruled out pneumonia but sent us home with an antibiotic prescription for strep throat.

Bean Bags

All the kids got Bean bag chairs for Christmas.    Andi now sleeps on her bean bag chair at night.
Christmas was really fun.

 The only downside was that Andi was sick.  She had a fever, was coughing really bad and was wheezing.   She was so tired all she wanted to do was sleep.  She would open a present and then lay back down.  We ended up taking her to the ER because the instacares were closed because she was wheezing so bad.   She had strep and bronchitis.  They put her on antibodics and sent us home.

Christmas Morning

Emily made us crocheted bags.  

Jenn made me a hummingbird dream catcher.  

We got up and had our usual Cinnamon Rolls  and Hot chocolate and Jenn cooked Bacon.   It snowed just a little bit so we I guess we had a white Christmas.

Christmas Eve Pajamas

The kids and Jenn got new pajamas on Christmas Eve.  It is one of our traditions to get something Christmas Eve, sometimes it is Pajamas, other years we have done blankets or shirts.

Sunday Before Christmas

Since they were all dressed up I decided to do pictures in front of the tree.  They are so tall you can hardly see the tree.

Andi's Christmas Performance

Andi did her Christmas dance performance.  She is just so dang cute and she loves to sing and dance.  I did her hair for this performance.  I thought it turned out pretty cute.

Sunrise

The days are cold and the nights are cold. The weather is snowy and overcast, but we have Beautiful Sunrises here in Utah in the winter. 

Jeremy's Ugly Sweater

I won the ugly sweater contest at my school this year. This was a homemade effort where I duct taped 60 lights into the sweater that I was quite proud of.
