100 Books

Last year I made a goal that didn't really matter if I reached it or not.  I made a goal to read 100 books.  And today, with only 4 days left until the end of the year I achieved that goal.  By looking at the list you can guess that I am an Elementary School teacher as most of the books are Children's books, or Young Adult books.  Some of the books I listened to, some I read twice, and yes there are even a few picture books that I listed.   My favorite is a book of the year was "A Hero's Guide to Saving the Kingdom."

Christmas Day

The kids were excited to come up the stair and see the presents and their stockings.

The kids each got a movie, a book, church clothes, socks and a minion in their stocking.

Jenn got a pineapple and a pineapple slicer in her stocking.

Jere and I got stocking too.

We had our traditional Christmas breakfast with Cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate and Jenn sliced her pineapple to share with breakfast.

In front of the tree so ready to open presents.

Thanks Emily for the Lego Airplane.

Thanks Grandma Doolittle for a movie and his very own Rubixs Cube.

They each got a nerf bow and arrow and we made them open them at the same time.

Then they got to open these presents from Jenn.  She painted them Targets.

Garrett got a Bowser target.

Devin got minion targets

Olivia got a blank target that she can paint herself.

Thanks Emily for the cool Laser Pegs.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Doolittle for Devin's very own Lego Tub.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Doolittle for the awesome art supplies.

Jenn got camping gear from us including her own hatchet.

The kids got a new T.V for downstairs since the down there doesn't work very well.
 /
Jeremy got a new Wii U for Christmas.  The other one we had broke.
I got a lot of baby things.  I got  a baby monitor, car seat cover, a new robe, a nursing pillow, some baby blankets, and bath things for the baby.  Jere also got me a movie and a few books.

We had a great Christmas.  We sure missed being with all the other members of our families.

Garrett's Gingerbread house

At Garrett's school party, they made Gingerbread houses using graham crackers.  He said they actually used hot glue to on the crackers and then frosting for the candy.  I guess this is one house he won't be eating. (Not that he would have eaten it anyway.)

Sleeping Boy

I love these moments.  We were watching a movie and Devin was sitting with me.  Then he fell asleep.  He is such a snugly kid.

Lego Team

We got our Lego Team Shirts finally finished. We had one of the parent's design the shirt, one parent iron on the picture on the shirts. Our tournament will be January 11.
Our Team: Olivia, Garrett, Devin (our honorary member) Wesley, Matt, Alexa, and Michael.  Landon and Anders  are not pictured.

Our Robot has 3 programs on it right now.

The girls really enjoy programming.

And the boys are more into building the robot.

Devin just likes to be a part of the fun.

We are doing a team building activity where the kids are trying to keep the balloon in the air without using their hands.

Baby Shower

I had a few friends give me a baby shower. It was a nice shower, with friends, talking, and food.

I got some really cute blankets.

I got a baby essential pack and some things to pack for the hospital for me.

I love all the cute hair bows, hats and the bath things.

I got some 0-3 month clothes

Some 3-6 month clothes

And some 9-12 month clothes.
We are almost ready for this little girl to come.  We still need a dresser for all her things.  Plus we need to set up her room, but right now the lego team things are in there, and we still need a name.  We have few names on our list but we just don't know yet.  It was nice to have some friends give me shower.  It has been 13 years since I had a baby girl.  I swear the clothes are getting cuter

People who attended:  Kindra Bellows, Allison Schipanboard, Maggie Soward, Sara Pitcher, Tina Chandler, Natlie Miller, Jennifer Doolittle, Amie Nye, Robyn Torkornoo,  Magen Toronto, Amanda Thurston,

Candy Reindeer

We made reindeer for our neighbors and friends this year.  They turned out super cute and they were pretty easy to make.  Now we just need to deliver them.   Jeremy and I wrapped them and the kids did the faces.

Santa Visit and Letter

The weekend after Thanksgiving the kids wrote letters to Santa. Through Olivia says she didn't. In the mail they got a response.  They were excited to get the letter from him.  As you can tell it is addressed to all 3 of them.

Then we went to Jennifer's Christmas party and sat on Santa's lap.
