Spring Break

This year for Spring Break we decided to stay home and do things that were on our Get Out Pass.  

We started on Monday by going to Provo Beach and played Laser Tag.

Then we went to the Provo Mall to The Rift and had to go and find and collect dragons using AR. 

We then went to the Kreative Kiln and painted pottery. 

It was a fun first day!
 

Cleaning her Room

 

So she is supposed to be cleaning her room.  What does she do?  She puts on the cat tunnel as a hat and stuffs it full of blankets and says it helps her to get her room clean.  Silly Girl. 

Mary Blair

Andi had a wax museum at school. She learned about Mary Blair.  Mary Blair was the first female artist who worked with Walt Disney on projects like Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland.  Mary Blair also did the art work for It's a Small World at Disneyland.  She loved to use color.  This was a perfect person for Andi to study.

 

Lambs

My neighbor's soon raises sheep.   One of the sheep died after gave birth to two lambs.  She brought these two lambs to her house and has been bottle feeding them.  They are so cute.  Andi is holding a lamb that is only 1 day old.  My friend, Amie, thought that they wouldn't survive.  But she has fed them and cared for them. 

Now they are a couple weeks old and they are so playful and curious!  They are so cute!

 

Wedding Video

We found our wedding video on a VHS tape in our basement.  We no longer have a VHS, so I took the video to the Family Search Center, and they helped me to make it digital.  I took some screen shots of the video as it was rendering.  We were so young! 

Made me tear up to see and hear my Pappy and Granny again.

Mythical

 The school had a vocabulary parade.  Each kid chose a word and dressed up as the work.  Andi chose Mythical.  I think the word fits her quite well. 

Cinderella

For my birthday, Jenn got me tickets to see Cinderalla at the new Ruth theater in Pleasant Grove. It was such a cute pla. 

 

Gluten Free Cooking

I am taking a wellness class.  For the class, you need to spend 12 hours doing something that will help you.  Each person got to choose what they were going to do.  I chose to learn how to cook some recipes we could have for dinner.

I got my recipes from a cookbook from the American Test Kitchen for Gluten Free and from a website called Meaningful eats.  

I have more recipes that I want to try.
