Up the canyon

 We are loving this warmer weather.  I think we are going a little stir crazy.  Jere and I took Andi up Provo canyon on Sunday.   The weather was beautiful.    It is so nice to get out in nature.  The boys choose not to come with us. 

WV Puzzle Puzzle

 For my birthday, they got me a WV Grist mill puzzle.  We finally got it all put together.  It was a hard puzzle, but it was fun putting it together with Jere. 

Provo Pool

 We went to the pool on Saturday.  We wanted to get out of the house and do something fun. We went to the Provo Rec Center.  Apparently everyone else had the same idea and it was super crowded.   Jeremy ended up not coming and he came and got Garrett because it was just too busy for him.   But I think it turned out to be a fun outing. 

Devin's Band Concert

 

Devin is in beginning band and plays the euphonium.  He likes the band teacher, but he hates practicing.  I don't think he will do it again next year.  I wish he would so that he would be involved in something.  But I guess band wasn't his thing.  For a beginning band he sounded pretty good. 

Garrett and Landon

 

Garrett spent the weekend with his Best Friend, Landon.  I am glad they can still get together. Too bad we live 3 hours away.   He had a good weekend of going to the arcarde, doing an escape room,  playing video games and just hanging out.   This was the perfect weekend to do it since it was the end of the term, so he had no homework. On Monday, there were no school for the kids. 

Kids this past week

Andi had show and tell and took a picture of the LA Temple, so she could show everyone where her sister is serving her mission.

Devin has a new hobby right now.  He is making paracord bracelets that he learned how to do in scouts. 

Garrett had a band concert this past week.  
 

My workout buddy

 Andi will occasionally get up with me and workout with me.  She likes to the stretches that I do at end.   She got me a yoga mat for my birthday and everyday she asks if I used the mat today.  I don't need it every day, but it nice to have on the days that I need to be doing things on the floor.

Coding Challenges

 For my classes, we are doing coding.  With some help from Jeremy we created coding challenges for each grade level.  I made posters to show the challenges for each grade and as students complete each challenge they get to add their name to the poster on a sticky note and add it to the poster. They can move their sticky note around as they complete more challenges.  Most of the kids are really into this and are loving the challenges,  I hope that they love them enough to work on them at home too. 

Turtle Fun

 

We made an enclosure for the turtle with pillows and unicorns and let the turtle roam around.  She went to straight to the unicorns which made Andi really happy. 

Sunrises

 I love waking up in the morning to these beautiful sunrises.  I love feeling in awe of the things that God created for us to show us his love on a day when you need it a little bit more.    These sunrises make me think of Olivia, because she loves sunrises  and sunsets so much.  

Love Notes from Andi

 I love getting these notes from Andi.  I know that she is so sincere and truly loves others.   I am so thankful for her example of showing love to others.  She gives these notes just to show kindness and love.
