Olivia's Birthday

Her brothers loved her.  She opened their presents before the party.  They got her art things.
We can't believe she is 12! She wanted a pink and black soccer ball for her birthday.  We bought edible paper and made one for her.
Olivia had a small party at the house, Auri, Maddy, Elizabeth, Celestine, Maddy and later Marisa Came.  They brought her lots of candy!  She also got a journal, and some nail things from her friends.  She planned her own party.  They made bead bracelets, watched Mirror Mirror, ate S'mores, and played spoons.

Wolf

Garrett earned his Wolf yesterday at pack meeting. He loves cub scouts and really enjoys signing things off. We already have his bear book to start working on his bear activities. We are proud of all of his hard work.

He has also earned the lots of belt loops: BB Shooting, Fishing, Archery, Music, Marbles, Compass.

Last Soccer Game

Saturday was Olivia's last soccer game! She really loves playing. She is a good player and it is fun to watch her play. We will sign her up again in the Spring. After Spring we are not sure what we will do because the City doesn't offer soccer for 7th graders.

Love it

I still love seeing the kids reading with each other.  Olivia reads to Devin every day!  What a great sister she is.

Garrett's Guitar

We had an empty box and Garrett asked if he could have it.  So I gave it to him and and he started cutting it apart.  I asked what he was doing.  He said he wanted to make a guitar and take it to school to show his music teacher.  His music teacher on Friday's lets the kids have a presentation day where they can show off any musical talent if they want.   So he wanted to show his "Guitar."   Last year he wrote and sang his Mario Song.

Preschool Field Trip

Devin went on his first field trip to HEE HAWS Farm. Jere took 1/2 day off to go with him.
This is Devin with teacher Mrs. Nicole.  He loves her and loves preschool.

Cornbelly's

We enjoy going to Cornbelly's and doing some fall activities as a family.  I especially love using a coupon to get a good deal to go.
There were these really awesome wooden play structures that the kids liked to play on.  They had trains, castles, boats, trucks.  Devin climbed on top of the train and before I could stop him he took a leap off the top.

Devin's Quote for the day:
As we are arriving he says "What is this place? Have I ever been here?"
After we had been there for a little bit he comes and gives me a hug and says, "Thanks Mom, for bringing me here I always wanted to come here!"

Picking out Pumpkins

There are a couple of pumpkin patches in Riverton and we like to have the kids go and pick out their own pumpkin.   We even had a crayon to mark whose pumpkin was whose.  The kids each picked out 2 each (A big and little one). They wanted to carve both and have the big one eating the little one.  Jere and I each picked out 1.  Jenn picked 4.  Between all of us we had 135 lbs of pumpkins. I think we are set!

Sundance

We wanted to go and see the fall leaves.  We decided to do something a little different this year.  We decided to take the kids to Sundance and ride the ski lift up the mountain to enjoy the fall colors.

Devin was a little scared going up the mountain but seemed to love coming back down.  As he came back down he would yell hi to everyone we passed and make them all smile.

The ride lasted about 15 minutes and took us up about 1000 ft. Elevation at the top was 7,150.

The colors were beautiful.  We probably missed the peak of color by a couple of days but it was still very colorful.

Family Picture!

We wanted a picture of the three kids to print an 8 by 10 to hang on the hall. Since the last photo with all three of them Devin is 6 months old.

One of these will probably work.

Livvy took a picture of us too.

I asked Garrett if he liked going up or down better he replied, "Neither, I wanted it to go faster like a roller coaster."

We love Fall Break and enjoy spending time with each other. So glad we took the opportunity to go and see the beautiful fall colors and see and appreciate Heavenly Father's wonderful creations.
