Applesauce Day

We pick the apples.  Thanks Stephanie for the free apples that you let us pick. 

We cut the apples, boil the apples, and mash the apples.

We make applesauce and eat some of it. 

We bag the applesauce.  We mage 32 quarts that we will freeze. 
 

Devin's Date Night

 I took Devin to a new pizza place and pistol shooting. The pizza place was meh, but shooting was fun.

Busy Day with Andi

I had to take Andi for a DR. appointment.  After her Dr. Appointment, we went to the Pizza Factory for lunch, then we went to the butterfly museum, and we finished off the day with Ice Cream.    If you are going to skip school we might as well make a fun day of it.   

 

Hiking Without the Kids

 Robin and I took a hike to Gloria Falls without the kids. It was nice!

School Picture Day

Lehi Elementary

Jeremy's School got recognized by the board.  So he and a few students got to go to the board meeting.

Sept. 11

To Remember 9-11. We went to a memorial in Sandy that had a flag for each person who died that day.   It is a very somber and humbling being there. 

 

Luau

Jere and I  went to Thanksgiving point for Luau.  They had a Hawaiin Feast and then dancers.  There were so many people there that we didn't get good seats and we couldn't see the dancers.  We left after we ate. 

Deer creek Reservoir

We spent our Labor Day at Deer Creek Reservoir.  We had a really good time enjoying the cool water on a hot day.  

 

Pump for this Girl

 Andi missed school today to go and get a pump.  This is her new pump.  It is an Omnipod 5. It talks to her Dexcom to help to know how much insulin she should be given.  We change the pod every 80 hours.  It is tubeless.  She is so excited to not have to to take 6 shots a day.
