First Day of School

Olivia is going into the 10th grade. This will be her first year at Westlake High School.

Devin is going into third grade at Harvest Elemenary.

Garrett will be in the 7th grade at Vista Elementary

Andi gets to go to Anna's House and spend some Mondays with me at home this year.

She is pretending to be a pirate with her hook and sword!

I can't believe that my kids are getting so grown up! They are all great kids.  Here is to another great year at school.

Lockers

Kathleen and Olivia decided to be locker partners for their first year at the High School.  Andi was pretty excited to be there too.  She jumped in the picture. 

 This is Garrett's first year at the Middle School where he has to use a locker.  It was pretty hard to learn to get it open but he did it.  He is glad to have a friend who is his locker partner.

Canyon with Jenn

Teachers started back to school on Aug. 17. Livvy stayed home and babysat. Jenn came on Thursday, another teacher work day, and gave them one last summer adventure and took them up AF canyon to have a picnic and play in the water. So nice to have a sister close by to help me with the kids and to do fun things with them while I go back to work.

First Tuba Concert

Garrett went to band camp this summer to learn to play a trombone.  He had never played before but he learned a lot and by the end of the 2 weeks he could play 3 songs.  That is pretty impressive if you ask me.   He met a friend, Colby, at Band Camp and they decided to be locker partners together.   He seemed to really enjoy band.  I hope he continues to like it.

Saturday after the wedding, we took the cousins who were still here to the pool to go swimming. They don't see each other very often but they sure had fun with each other

Aspen's Wedding

Our niece got married.  She was a baby about 6 months old when Jeremy and I got married.  She got Married in the New Provo City Temple.   Here are a few pictures from her special day and some pictures with the cousins who came to visit.   

The reception had fun games and dancing that all the kids enjoyed.  Olivia was excited that she got to see a lot of cousins.

We are proud of Aspen and her new husband Jake and we are glad we got to celebrate with them.

Yuba Lake

After the soccer game, we went to Yuba Lake this past Saturday, and packed a picnic dinner. We bought a few noodles and floaty toy. Plus we brought our sand buckets and spent over 4 hours at the lake. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed playing in the water and sand. I would love to be there everyday. It is about an hour and half away but it is totally worth it.

Garrett and Devin dug a hole and that turned into a giant mud hole.  They loved every minute of playing in the mud.
