Olivia bought a new dress with her own money and went to her friend's house to get ready for the dance.  She has some good friends.

Olivia's Winter Youth Conference

In Feb. Livvy went to a Winter Youth Conference with her cousin, Kathleen, to the Heber Valle Camp.  It was freezing cold but she had a lot of fun.

House Project

We decided that we wanted to make some changes to our house. It is now about 14 years old and needed some TLC. The first project is painting. This weekend we painted the kitchen and living room. We went from plain white walls to 2 shades of blue. It looks really nice. We still want to paint the trim and white. We want to put new flooring in the kitchen. Get new cabinets and new carpet. And probably a new dish washer since ours isn't working right now!  But we have started. Jenn came and helped us and we borrowed a taller ladder from Stephanie. 

So here you can see the two colors. One a light blue and the other one a little bit darker.

Devin's Date Night

We started in January where we would take the 1 kid a month on a Date with Jeremy and I. They can pick what they want to do (Within reason). This was Devin's month. He choose to go to Pizza Factory for dinner and then go to Curiosity Museum to do the high ropes course again. I won't do the course so I watched him and Jeremy.  I think he had a fun night.  I did make him open my doors for me because that is what a Gentleman does! 

My Birthday

Andi loved my flowers! And Garrett used my flowers to draw for an art project.

On Feb. 27, I turned 38.  Jeremy and Garrett went on an overnight hike.  Livvy went to a Winter Youth Conference. So I hired a babysitter for Andi and Devin and Jenn and I went out.  We got pedicures, went to a new restaurant called the Bohemian Grill (Which served German Food) and then went and got cheesecake!
The next day, Jeremy brought home flowers for me and a neighbor brought me some Candy.  Jere and I went out to eat at Rodizo. They give you a buy one get one free meal on your birthday!  I went out to lunch with a few friends that week. It was a good birthday!

Outside

The weather is finally warming up and Andi wants to be outside. We brought up our little slide out of the shed and she loves to play on it. She also loves to go to the park and she definitely doesn't want to leave the park.  Plus she is a "Big Girl" now and doesn't want help going up the ladders to get to the big slide. We are loving this warmer weather.

These two love each other but sometimes they can really bug each other and annoy each other. Well it is also nice to see that they can play together without one of them screaming.

Flowers at Work

A former 3rd grade student of mine who is now a senior in high school, brought me a bouquet of flowers and a 30 dollar gift card because he remembered me and how much I had helped him.  It made my day.  I am so glad that I have made a difference in a small way.
