Clear Creek

Olivia went to Clear Creek which is a summer camp for kids going into 6th grade. It is kind of like a science/nature camp.

These are just a few of the things that they got to do at Clear Creek.  Her camera broke so she didn't get a lot of pictures.   She had a great time.

Scout Day Camp

Garrett went to his first day camp. It is a two day camp. Yesterday I went with him to camp as one of the drivers.  His den had 17 boys there.

They made a beaded flag keychain.

They whittled soap to make an arrow heads.

He had a great day.  He was so excited for the day that he got up early and was ready to go before my alarm even went off.  He went again today and they will be doing leather work, shooting archery, doing an obstacle course, and playing more games.  Garrett is excited that he gets to sign of several things in his Wolf Book. I was glad I got to go for one of the days.

Father's Day Water Fight

The kids made Jeremy breakfast this morning (with my help) They made him sausage biscuits.  Olivia made him cookies.  Then the kids put the food on the tray and took to him for breakfast in bed.   The kids each got him a gift.  Garrett got him a Mario Tennis Game, Livvy got him a game, and Devin got him squirt guns.

After church and after dinner we took the water guns outside and started a water fight.  Half way through the water fight the squirt guns were abandoned for the water hoses.  Then the sprinkles came on.  We were all sopping wet and having a great time. 

Happy Father's Day Jere.  We love you and appreciate all that you do for our family.  We especially appreciate that you love to have fun with us.

Flower Garden

My flower bed is overgrown with weeds and grass.  My bush and tree are a little out of control. But without any help from me (well expect that I planted it several years ago), I have a very pretty flower growing.   When I saw it, it made me happy.  It almost made me want to go and work in my flower beds. 

Cowabunga Bay

My kids are water people! We love going swimming, playing in the hose, going to splash pads, and going to Water Parks. It is awesome!  Devin could go on all of these slides and didn't need any help.  There are lots of fountains and dumping buckets. There are small slides and big slides and they even have a lazy river.  It is a little pricey but I learned if you go on Tuesdays it is two for 1.    Jenn and her friend Sarah Ann went with us.  It was a perfect day for a water park. Jere didn't go this time but I think he will come with us next time.

Monster Truck Ride

Yesterday,we had a BIG surprise for the kids.  We took them to the Saratoga Splash Days and let them ride a monster truck! It was so much fun.  It was 5 dollars per person.

We asked the driver to make it extra bumpy.  We all were yelling and screaming having a great time.

They all wanted to go again but we told them once was enough!

I did enter to win a free birthday party from them.  Now that would be a cool birthday party.  But I know the chances are pretty slim to win.   :)

Highland Splash Park

I took the kids with my friend Kendra and a couple of her kids to the Highland Splash bark.  The kids love being in water.  The great thing about this place is that is free.  It was a little crowded but no so crowded that it wasn't fun.

I also took Olivia's Friend Maddy.

I love days in the sun and playing in water.  I am the only one who got burnt.  Apparently I didn't put enough sunscreen on my back.
