Gardens on a Monday

I met up with Jenn and we took Andi to the Gardens on Monday. Love spending time with my sister and my litter girl on the Mondays that I don't work.

Tubing Down the Provo

For Garrett's date night this month we took him tubing down the Provo.  Jenn met us there with her kayaks.  It was fun, but it was not relaxing.  It was a lot of paddling and trying to stay out of the bushes and trees and the water was cold! It was nice to have Jenn with us she is prepared.  She even brought snacks to share.   She used her camera that had a water proof case.

First Day of School

Here we go again. We had the first day of school.
Andi- Three going to a babysitter (Miss Nicole's)
Devin- 9 Going into 4th grade at Springside Elementary and his teacher is Mr. Moser.
Garrett- 13 Going into 8th grade at Vista Jr. High Olivia- 16
Going to Westlake Highschool and gets to drive to school this year.

Solar Eclipse

We were able to see the solar eclipse. We could see about 91% of it here. My principal gave us glasses. I went home with the glasses to watch it with the boys. When I got home they were already at a neighbor's house with their homemade devices. It was really neat to see the eclipse. 

Olivia went to her friend, Krissa's, House to see the eclipse.  She got a better picture than I did.

Olivia got her wisdom teeth removed

Olivia needed to get her wisdom teeth removed.  The orthodontist said that if they weren't removed then they would start to cause problems in her mouth, there wasn't enough room for them to come in and they would shift her teeth and undo all the work and money that went into her braces.  So we set the appointment.  She was pretty nervous. 

Some of her crazy talk:
Why am I bleeding, I am not on my period.
I look like a big butt with lips.
I look like a chipmunk
I love everyone
You don't understand me, you make me eat biscuits.
When the footrest on the couch went up "This is fancy, WEE," with her hands in the air, "This is a rollercoaster.  Do that again."
When I had to leave to go get medicine, " I am a good girl, I will stay right here"
I miss Andi.
That is not my car.  You are stealing it.
When I told her I was going to pick up yogurt "You are a weirdo I hate yogurt! What ever!"

She had her friend Shamae come and record her.  She has some pretty funny videos.  It was pretty funny to listen too.

Rockport State Park

We found a state park that we have never been too about an hour and 15 minutes away. It has a beautiful lake and the water is warm enough to swim in. We took dogs to cooks for dinner and spent the day at the lake. Jenn brought her Kayaks. It was so nice. It cost 10 to park for the day. We love finding new places to go to spend time with family.
