This is Halloween

Andi wanted to be a light-up butterfly.

Livvy was also a butterfly.

Devin dressed up as the Hulk.

Jeremy and I both dressed up as surgeons.

Garrett was Yoshi.
We made cany bags and set up a table for trick or treaters
We set out the fire pit and handed out candy.  My friend brought us over donuts.

Pumpkins

Jenn, Derek, Ryan, and Olivia came over and we carved pumpkins outside since the weather turned so nice again.

Here is the one Livvy painted for her work party.

Olivia is 22

She celebrated with her work friends, she celebrated with us, she celebrated with Ryan and his Grandma and Aunt, and she celebrated for a week.

For work, they had donuts, cake, and balloons for her.

We took her out to the Pizza Factory for dinner with Jenn, Dereky, Ryan, Olivia and Jeremy, and Me.   The we came back and had peanut butter pie (As her favorite tradition) and cheesecake.

With her friends, she celebrated by having a Halloween party with some friends with cake.

They make a cute cowgirl and cowboy.

Rainbows and pumpkins

Andi and I were going to go to a pumpkin patch to go and get pumpkins for carving.  It was a cold and rainy day but outside there was this amazing rainbow.  Andi took my phone and snapped a picture of it.
We decided it was too cold to go to the pumpkin patch so we went to Smiths and picked out pumpkins for carving there.

Pumpkin Festival at Springside

Springside does a yearly pumpkin festival where the students decorate or carve pumpkins to bring to school and then they place them around the school for parents to come to walk through and see them.  They have games and food trucks there too.
Andi made a Unicorn pumpkin and then dressed up to match her unicorn.

La Trip Day 4: Los Angles Temple Visitor Center

Livia served at the Visitor Center and loved working there and meeting lots of people.  This was the one place she really wanted to go to.

After the temple, we headed out of LA and drove to Vegas and we drove home in a really big thunderstorm with lots of lightning.  It was a cool storm, but we did pull over when the rain got too heavy and it was hard to see.

We had a great trip.  The traffic was horrible and it took 3 times as long to get anywhere while in LA but we made some great memories.

On the way home we drove through a bad thunderstorm. We had to actually pull over once to wait for the rain to stop.
