Happy Birthday, Ryan!

Ryan and Olivia came over on Sunday and we celebrated Ryan's birthday with him.  We had steaks and cheese bread for dinner,  Olivia made him a cake,  we watched the soccer game, played a game, and set off Diet Coke and Mentos.  

 

Strawberry Reservoir

Jenn went camping at Strawberry.  We came up on Saturday and joined them to play in the lake.  The lake did not have a good beach area, but we found a place and enjoyed playing in the water.  It wasn't too cold.  It was a lovely day to be at the beach   Devin was at a youth activity so he didn't join us. 

 

Tibble Reservoir

Jenn and I took Devin and Andi up to Tibble Reservoir and then went past it just a little bit to play in the River and to have a picnic. 

 It was so relaxing and so much fun to play in the River.  It brought back memories when we were kids and would spend hours playing in the river at Holly River. 

My Toy

 The cats love boxes and anything they can sit in.  Pepper is in one of Andi's toys.   He has claimed it as his own. 

Youth Temple Trip

 Devin went to the new Orem Temple.   It is such a blessing to have so many temples nearby. 

Free Frazzle Friday

I took the kids to get free frazzled and then lunch at Chick fillet. 

 

Cascade Springs

Jenn and I took Devin and Andi up to Cascade Springs.  It is beautiful up the canyon. 

The springs had a lot of water.

Then we drove to Big Springs Park for a picnic.  

 I love canyon days.  It is good for my soul!

Scera Shell Outdoor Play: Little Mermaid

We went to the Scera Shell outdoor theater to see the Little Mermaid. Going to the outdoor plays are some of my favorite things to do in the Summer. This was such a fun play.   They did an amazing job on the music, dancing, and the special effects.

Thanksgiving Point Gardens: Uncharted Worlds

Jenn and I took Andi to the Gardens to the Uncharted Worlds.  The flowers are always beautiful but they also had some great exhibits with giant animals, dinosaurs, and insects.

Lehi Outdoor pool

Andi loves going to the pool in the summer.  She especially loves the diving board. 

 

Zions-Kolob Canyon

On our way home, we made a quick stop at Zion's Kolob Canyon.  I always love to see the red mountains. 

 

Seal Beach, California.

On our final day in California, we went to the beach again.   It was a cold day but we still enjoyed being at the ocean and walking on the pier and playing in the sand.
