Good Babysitter

Angie has been my babysitter for the past two years. She was willing to take Devin after I had him without charging me more for an infant. Garrett loves to go and play at his "friend's house" Devin has always been well tended for and seems happy. I am also lucky enough that she is willing to watch them again next school year.

Now that school is out I am looking forward to spending the summer with my children.

2 More Days of School

There are 2 days left until summer vacation. I wanted to get a picture of Olivia with her teacher Miss Eliason. She has been a good teacher and Olivia has enjoyed being in her class. They are standing outside of Olivia's Classroom. Her class only had 15 students in it. We loved that she was in a small class with a good teacher. It is hard to believe that she is done with first grade. Time seems to go by fast.

Garrett wanted in on the picture taking. He loves Olivia so much.

Funny story

I am extra forgetful lately. I forgot to take in the milk today for Devin's bottle. Luckily for me I keep some frozen milk there. The sitter was taking the milk out of the freezer, and one of the other kids she tends saw her. He got all excited and ran up to Garrett and said, "Guess What, your brother is getting ice cream for lunch."

IMPORTANT BLOG NOTICE

Robin and I have been talking a while about making this blog more private. We are slightly concerned that we have so many pictures of us and our kids on the blog and that there are many people who view this blog that we don't know. With all the craziness of the world, we think we would prefer to be more cautious than we have been.

For this reason, we are taking this blog private. We apologize, Mr. Nahasapeemapetilon in Delhi India, Mr. Zohan in Israel, and Mr. Oscar Meyer in Bologna, Italy. Don't believe me? Here's proof:

If you want to be able to view this blog after next Saturday, I need to know your e-mail address to be able to add you to the list of approved viewers. So please send me an email at
jdogbrunner@yahoo.com.
So after next Saturday you will have to enter your e-mail address to view the blog. Sorry that this will be more inconvient for you.

11th Anniversary

Yesterday was our 11th wedding anniversary. Robin planned a night out of entertaining fun (Jennifer watched Olivia and Garrett).
Don't we look excited?

We went to a place called Showtime Utah (Which if you live in Utah, you really need to go there). It's in Pleasant Grove, and they had a live band and good food. I'd recommend the barbecued pork with a cheesecake brownie for dessert. The musicians were all really, really talented. The show was fun and the food was yummy. Robin and I both agreed that everyone there tried really hard to make sure everyone has having a good time. If you are tired of the whole Chili's and Applebees scene, you ought to go to Showtime Utah at least once. Why not go next Friday? Here's their website: www.showtimeutah.com Devin also figured out how to stick his thumb in his mouth while we were there.

After dinner and the show, we went to see the movie Made of Honor. Robin thought it was cute, but I thought the language was pretty bad. If was funny though because when we got there we were the only people in the theater.

Jeremy's Turn

Last weekend, I went out with my sister to do some shopping. This weekend Jeremy went out with Jennifer and a couple of his friends from work to see IRONMAN. Jenn says it is the best movie and she has now seen it 3 times. Jeremy really wanted to see and I'm ok to wait until comes out on video.

Want to see something crazy?

I'm sending you to a Chinese website. Don't worry about trying to read it, just click the link on the right side of the screen at the very very top (there are two blue links there, click the one on top).

Here's the website: http://dryice-dryice.myweb.hinet.net

Isn't that bizarre?

Day Out

Yesterday Jennifer and I took Devin and met my friend Melanie and spent the day out. I had a few gift certificates that I wanted to spend. The first stop was Barnes and Noble, and I bought the third book in the Peter and Starcatchers series. I really enjoy this series. It is a lot of fun. It is a Peter Pan book.

Then we went to
The food was really good but the service was slow. Good thing we weren't in a hurry. I had a couple of gift certificates here so the entire meal for all three of us was free except for the tip.

Then we went to Cold Stone and I ordered the Peanut Butter Cup perfection. I love Cold Stone!
(I didn't have a gift certificate for here but sometimes it is nice to treat yourself.)

Jeremy was nice enough to keep the other kids while I went out. He was also nice enough to straighten up the house while I was gone. He is the best.

Then for dinner we tried to do homemade Cafe Rio salads. (Jeremy put the chicken in the Crock pot while I was out). It didn't taste exactly like Cafe Rio but it was very good.
