Spring Break: Day 1

We decided that for our spring break this year we wanted to do a family trip since Olivia was a Senior.  We went on a cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenda,yyy Mexico Leaving from Long Beach California.  We drove to California and stopped in Vegas on the way there and stayed with Vickie and Earl.  We did a Fondo dinner with them!

Senior Prom Night

Roxanne and Shawn,  Krissa and Jackson, and Livvy and Quinn

Olivia went to Prom tonight with her two best friends and their all of their dates.

Paint Night

Jenn and I went to a paint night with a few friends.  We did a sunset picture.  It was so fun.    Jenn took her friend SaraAnn and I took my friend Aimee. 

More Butterflies

Andi had been begging to go back to the butterfly biosphere.  For family night we went back.  This time we got lucky and had some butterflies land on some of us. 

St. Patrick's Day

Andi's preschool teacher told her about Liam the Leprechaun.  She wanted to build a trap to catch him.  Garrett and Olivia built a trap for him but all they caught was a Green Yoshi!

Pedicures with the Girls

We went and got Pedicures together.  It was Andi's first pedicure.  She loved every minute of it!  We got pedicures because Livvy was going to Prom and next week we are leaving on our cruise and we all wanted pretty toes.

Monday Night Scavenger Hunt

For our Monday Night Family Night, we created an outside scavenger hunt since it was finally warm outside.  We split up into to two groups and had to take pictures of the things we found.  It was so fun.  Too bad the good weather didn't last.  The next day it snowed.

More Dash

I took my Dashes and set up large United States Maps and had the 5th graders run dash around the United States.  It is so fun to use Dash.  The kids love to use Dash and they are so engaged and they got some good experience with the Map too which is in their social studies core.

Devin's Date Night

We took Devin on his Date night to See How to Train your Dragon 3.  It was a a good movie. We watched it in 3D.

Fondo Night

We got out our fondo pot for Family night and enjoyed dipping strawberries, bananas, cookies, and marshmallows to in yummy chocolate.   We had so much fun that a couple of days later we actually did a three course meal using the Fondo pot.
