These two girls love each other so much. They play with each other and make each other laugh.
We went to Visit Jenn's new place and she has this really fun spiral staircase. Andi thought that climbing up and down those stairs was the best. Livvy took all these great pictures of her on the stairs.

Farm Country
Crazy Glasses
At school they were having red ribbon week. One of the days was to wear sun glasses to school. Garrett didn't have any sunglasses so he made his own out of clear lids and string. He looked absolutely crazy but he thought it was great!
Devin's Soccer
Devin really wanted to play soccer again this fall. He loved it so much last spring and he really wanted to play again this year. He seems to enjoy himself and has fun. However he does seem to get tired fast. But when he is in there playing he does give it his all and runs and tries his best to kick the ball. At the last game he said, "I would have scored a goal but the goalie stopped it."
Devin's face in this last picture is because the other team just scored a goal against him. He wasn't standing in front of the goal when it happened. He told me, "Someone should tell them that it's not fair to try to score a goal when the goalie isn't in the box."
My Little Helper
Andi thinks that helping to do the dishes is so much fun! She will take the silverware out of the dishwasher and throw them into the drawer. I know it takes longer to do the dishes this way but hey I want to encourage the helpful behavior because I know that soon enough she won't want to my helper anymore.
Labor Day
We met Stephanie and Kurt's family to go and hike up to Battle Creek Falls then go up American Fork Canyon for hot dogs and s'mores and more playing in the the very cold river.

Got Milk?
Robin was looking out the front window yesterday morning and noticed a cow walking along the street. We all ran outside and found 6-7 cows just walking around. They went down our street to the cul-de-sac, turned around, and then went up to Harvest Park. I pulled out my phone to call the police but accidentally called the Police Department in Saratoga Springs, New York. We put a picture on Facebook and laughed as our neighbors posted things like, "How did I miss that?"
Andi kept yelling, "Moo! Moo!"

Book Release Party
Robin, Garrett, and I went to the release party for the new Michael Vey book. It was pretty funny when Richard Paul Evans came out and made a group of Elgen Guards dance ballet.

Random Pics
Here are the kids with stickers on their face. We were doing a family home evening lesson about repentance. The dots were "sins" and they could be taken off when they "repent" and ask forgiveness.

Cute Andi
| Andi brought me my camera and said "See" I had just put in a new memory card so I took a few pictures to show her. She sees a picture of herself and and says "baby" |
| Look at those blue eyes. They melt your heart. |
And she loves to wear shoes. She is wearing my shoes. But she will wear anyone's shoes at any time and if you are wearing a pair that she wants she will come and try to take them off of you and say "shoes shoes"
Raspberries
Jere and I went to pick raspberries on Saturday. We picked about 5lbs. The kids didn't come this time to help. The raspberries are delicious. We made a cobbler, made crepes, and have just eaten them. They are almost all gone and we have only had them 1 day.
Recipes I used with my raspberries!

I got this recipe when I went on Girl's retreat. One of the ladies brought these. They were delicious. So I asked for her recipe. I have made them in the past but I haven't made them in a while. But I was planning on going to the store and I said, "Garrett, has the treat, I bet he will want to have the homemade granola bars." I went to the store and Jeremy called me while there and said, "I asked Garrett what he wanted for the treat for FHE and he said "Homemade Granola Bars" I nailed it.
Homemade Baked Tacquitos
Mini Baked Chicken Taquitos2 cups shredded chicken
6 slices of bacon, crumbled
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
Dash (or so) of chili powder, cumin and garlic powder
8 large (10-inch) flour tortillas (I used small tortillas and didn't cut them. )
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Cut each tortilla into three or four small circles with a cookie cutter (or plastic cup and paring knife, if you don’t happen to have a large round cookie cutter). The original recipe said to cut three circles; I got four out of mine.
Add seasonings to cream cheese, then combine with chicken and bacon (which you should definitely bake in the oven). Spoon about a teaspoon of filling into each tortilla circle and roll up. Secure with a toothpick and place on lightly sprayed baking sheet. Spray the tops of the taquitos with baking spray and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crisp.
For a dipping sauce, I combined about 1/2 cup light sour cream, 1/4 cup light mayo and some homemade salsa. I’d love to tell you how much salsa, exactly, but it was really a add a little and see how it looks sort of thing.
These are so tasty! Plus bonus mine made 24 small ones so I froze half of them. So now I have dinner for another night too!
Aug. Sayings
Devin: (While laying down in the motel room) That wall doesn't like me. I just walk along and it gets closer and hits me in the face.
Devin: Why does Andi get the last banana?
Mom: Because she is a baby
Devin: I'm a baby too. Just a big baby that talks.
Devin: What can I do?
Mom: You still need to do reading?
Devin: Not what I have to do.
Devin: I like to get all the cereal wet so I dam it in there.
Jeremy: Jam, you jam it.
