Raspberries

Jere and I went to pick raspberries on Saturday. We picked about 5lbs. The kids didn't come this time to help. The raspberries are delicious. We made a cobbler, made crepes, and have just eaten them. They are almost all gone and we have only had them 1 day.

Andi and Olivia would just come up and eat handfuls at a time.  Okay Jere and I would too.  They were just that good!

Recipes I used with my raspberries!

Crepes

from All Recipes

2 cups flour
4 eggs
1 C milk
1 C water
1/4 t salt
4 T butter (melted)
4 t sugar (if dessert crepes)

In a large mixing bowl whisk milk and eggs.  Add water and melted butter.  Then Add flour and sugar.  Beat until smooth.

Heat and oil pan to med. temperature.  Pour 1/4 cup of batter into hot pan and then tilt pan and swirl in a circular motion to have the batter spread out.  Cook for 1-2 on one side and then flip and cook for about 1 more minute.

Serve hot or cold with your favorite filling-Which for us was raspberries and whip cream.  (Garrett put bananas and chocolate syrup in his.)
