I got a bad case of poison ivy while I was in WV. It is all over my legs. I have gotten a steroid shot and steroid creams. I have been scrubbing it, cleaning it, putting on tons of anti-itch cream and calomine lotion. I have washed my clothes and towels every day. It seems to be getting worse; new spots keep popping up. I might need to go back to the doctor.
It just keeps getting worse and worse. I called the doctor, and he put me on prednisone to see if that would help.
I first noticed signs of poison ivy the day before we left WV. It has now been almost 2 weeks, and I am seeing some improvement, and it is less red. But it looks like I have been burned around my ankles.
