Devin' Talk

Devin had to give a talk in primary today.  His topic was how do the ordinances of the gospel bring me closer to Jesus.  We helped him write his talk but he came up with a lot of the ideas.  He read the entire talk by himself.  He kept saying he needed us to help him.  We came and watched him but he didn't need our help.  This is the first time that he hasn't needed us to read it for him and he repeats what we say.  He is growing up so fast.

Good Morning,
My talk today is about a Journey.  A journey is going somewhere and you have to prepare to go there.   We are only a journey to meet Christ one day.  The first thing we need is to have Faith in Jesus Christ.  The next thing we need is to be baptized.  after we are baptized we can get the holy ghost.  Then we try to keep the commandments and if we make a mistake we can repent.  It is important to get closer to Jesus so we can live with Heavenly Father and Jesus again.  I believe in Jesus and soon I hope to be baptized and get the holy ghost.
