The kids did an egg drop. They were given an egg and a container and told to protect the egg when it was dropped from the roof. They used paper towels, grass, bags, rubber bands, and balloons. Plus they all made parachutes with Walmart bags. On the first drop all the eggs survived. Not even a crack.
They all wanted to try it again. On the second drop we told them no parachutes. So Olivia created something like this with the balloons on the outside to help cushion the fall. It was a fun activity.
On the second drop Olivia's and Zach's egg survived but the other three eggs got totally smashed.
