The kids brought me breakfast in bed, and I got some gifts from the kids, a clay pot and book mark that Andi made in school. Devin made me some buttons in school. Garrett got me chocolate and flowers and Jere got me new chairs for outside. I am spoiled. I love being a mom and I love my family.

Windy Picnic
Andi has been really wanting to do a picnic in the park with her friends. So we decided Saturday would be a good day. So we went to the park with picnic food but it was so windy. But the kids didn't seem to mind, they ate the food and loved playing on the playground.

Tulip Festival Again
Jeremy and I went on a date to the tulip festival. Of course we picked the one day that we were going to have a really bad wind storm. We only stayed for 30 minutes. Slightly disappointing but the tulips were still pretty.

Saratoga Springs Temple
Last Sunday, we decided to drive out to the new temple site to get a closer look at the temple. I see it every day when driving to work and I love seeing the progress. As you can see you can see that it is almost finished on the outside.
Leaving Foothill
I was told last Tuesday that I would be switching schools. Starting July 1st, I will be the principal at Lehi Elementary. Lehi is a 10 minute drive so that will be nice, but I'm hearing that I'm needed there to solve some problems. Here's a couple of pictures of when I threw candy off the roof at Foothill back on March 20th.

Friday
Devin made buttons at school. He picked some things I love to put on my buttons: West Virginia, Baby Goats, and sunsets at the beach. Such a thoughtful kid.
These are the only tulips that came up and bloomed this year. I know sad. I was looking forward to several tulips this year in my flower garden. I think I need to dig them up and plant new ones.
As I got up to exercise, I noticed that there was a beautiful sunrise. I really love sunrises and sunsets.
Andi decided to get up and do some of the exercises with me on Friday Morning.

Garrett's Date Night
For Garrett's Date night we went to Texas for Dinner and then we went to see a movie. We actually went to the real theater. It has been a long time since we have been to the theater. The AF theater is the way to go, they have reclining chairs. We saw The Courier. It was a spy movie based on a real story about the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Baby Chick
Our neighbor had baby chicks. She was only going to have them for a few days. But she let us come over and hold her baby chick. They are so cute and fluffy. She said they only cost .50 cents. So tempting to go and buy a few. Too bad they turn into chickens.

Girl's Night
Some teachers at my school and at a few nearby schools formed a book club. We decided this time to do a paint night. I invited Jenn to join us because she likes to paint and she likes to read. It was a fun evening. My friend, Rachel, who is also the PE teacher came too. It was a fun evening.

Tulip Festival
The tulip festival is one of my favorite things to do each year. I love tulips. There is just something about spring that brings hope. I will probably go back before the festival is over. A lot of the flowers still needed to open.
