Stephen's Lake

We went to Stephen's Lake and enjoyed the day there.  Stephen's lake has a nice lake and beach area, but it also has fun water toys for climbing and playing on.  The kids loved it. 

Olivia was helping Zane and Chandler to climb up on the toys.  

Fujiama's for Jeremy and Dad's Birthday

We went to Fujiama's for Jeremy and Dad's Birthday since their birthdays are a day apart.  It is always fun to go and eat at these places.  Emily and Jay were able to come with us.  It was a fun way to celebrate.

Here is Dad catching Egg.  When Olivia tried to catch it went down her shirt.  Later the guy asked if my Dad wanted Vodka.  We thought he was kidding and was just going to squirt water in my dad's mouth.  So dad said sure.  And the guy squirted real Vodka in his mouth.  It was so funny seeing his expression.   

Walks, pools and Thunderstorms

We went to the Carter's house to swim in their pool.  It was so fun.  Andi made a new best friend, Eve.  They wanted to spend as much time together as possible.   They would play and laugh.  They were so cute together. 

Zane, Andi, Devin and Eve. 

Andi loved taking Maizie, Mom's Dog for walks.  She took for a walk almost everyday. 

There was a huge thunderstorm and rainstorm.  When the storm started, my dad was out in the garden working.  It really freaked Andi out.  When he came back in she snuggled on his lab for a long time. 

Radioactive Vaseline Glass

Robin inherited some glassware from Pappy. It looks kind of green in normal light, but under a black light, you can see that it was made with uranium sand.

Plum Orchard Lake

 Mom and Dad brought their kayaks down to plum orchard lake and we went kayaking, swimming, and the older kids and Jeremy went shooting at the shooting range.  Being at the lake brought back sweet memories of living here at Plum Orchard.   We love going to lakes, ponds, waterfalls.  

Going to Babcock

 Babcock is one of my favorite places.  I love looking at the old grist mill. Dad says it is the number 1 photographed place in the state.   They have a fun water fall and stream to play in.   Plus we went up their pond and went paddle boating. 

Mom and Dad were good sports and watched.  I also didn't go on the paddle boats, found it hurt my leg to much to paddle it.  

Fun Sunday

Josh Came over to spend Sunday with us.  He worked a lot so we didn't see him as much.  He came and did arts and crafts with Andi and they painted ceramic figures.  He took Devin to play putt putt Golfing.  Sure love this kid and we sure missed his brother, Zach. 

 

S'more evening

 We had s'mores in the back yard.  Thomas was able to come over for the evening.  It was the only time that we had all four siblings together. 

First Day is Lake Day

We went to Summersville the first day there.  The lake is one of our favorite places.   Dad got in the water and was letting Andi jump off his shoulders.  We went with the Carter Family.  It was a beautiful day of the lake.  It was one of the few days that Jenn got to hang out with us. She was leaving a few days after we arrived.
