Seven Peaks

We have been to 7 peaks 4 times this summer. We might try to go one more time but things are busy so I don't know if we will get to go or not.  All the kids have fun here and have their favorites.  We like that Jenn can come with us.  We love being at the pool and swimming.

Lucky's Snowcones

We went to Lucky's the best snowcone place for FHE tonight.  We only got the kiddie size.  They are huge!  Livvy decided she didn't want one but the rest of sure enjoyed the sweet cold treat on this really hot day.  We shared with Andi. 

Canyons, Ponds and Waterfalls

We went up AF canyon to have roast hot dogs and marshmallows and to play in the river.

Then on another day we went to Manilla Pond and went swimming.  Garrett took Andi out to the bouys (or boobies what Andi calls them). Landon came with us and he had a grand time fishing.

Dounut Falls.  We went up Big Cotton Wood Canyon and went on about 1 mile hike to see Doughnut Falls. It was supposed to be a waterfall that went into a cave and you could walk into the cave but I guess the cave collapsed so you could only see part of the water fall.  We had doughnuts for the kids when we got back to the car.  The hike was pretty nice but we were disappointed about all the signs that said, "No wading, No Swimming, No playing the water."  As you can see from the pictures it was pretty crowded too.  Andi enjoyed the hike and kept saying, "I do it myself." She walked most of the hike.

Jeremy's B-Day

The week before Jere's birthday, his parents came up to Visit. They got him fireworks for his birthday and I got him a game called Pie Face. I made him his favorite dinner and we had homemade icecream. Happy 41.

I've had a few interesting things happen while the kids were back east.
First, I demolished the deck. It wasn't secure in the ground anyways and so it was a huge safety concern.

I cleaned out the "Just In Case" room and found this little beauty.

I found a serious of notes the family hid for me before they left.

And I decided to share this picture from back in May. In case you can't tell, the left big toe joint has gout. Not fun.

Good Bye

Grandma bought them all slushies on their last day.

It is always hard to say good bye and get on the plane and leave knowing it will be a long time before we see each other again. We had a great trip.  It was too short.  Thank you Mom and Dad and Emily for all the great times.  We love you.
