Lost Tooth

Devin lost  one of his top teeth.   He looks so cute.  What a snaggle tooth!   The tooth fairy brought him 2 dollars last night.  He got up the this morning and said, "I am rich."

He is going to look so different when he starts getting his big teeth in.

Crawling: The newest trick.

Andi has been getting on her hands and knees for awhile now. But she hasn't gone anywhere. Well that all changed yesterday! Livvy was playing with her. Andi really wanted her phone. So she crawled to Livvy to get her phone. Then Olivia put the phone further away and she would crawl after it. She is so cute to watch because she crawls with one leg up. So funny. She would then crawl to Livvy and then take her phone.  Livvy said, "Hey I didn't know I would have to share my phone with her."  She is learning to do new things so fast.

Want the phone!

Grab the phone

Take the phone!

Pulling to Standing

Andi can now grab hold of something and pull herself to standing. I was doing the laundry and she wanted to "help" and pull things out of the tub but she couldn't reach it. Then I noticed that she was starting to pull on the top of the laundry tub. I held the tub steady for her and she pulled herself to standing. She was so proud of herself. Then she could start taking things out of the tub.

Then we put her in the basket with the clean cloths.  I don't thinks he was amused.

Green and Blue Days

I noticed the other day that Jeremy, Garrett, Devin and Andi were all wearing green. So I decided I need a picture.
Then the next day, Garrett got up and got Andi out of her crib and decided to dress her.  He picked the Brunner shirt because he knew he had one too.  So after he dressed her he went and put on his shirt and asked me to take a picture of them together.  I love how Andi is talking in this picture.
Later that morning, Andi decided to play with the marble run.  The boys had built a tower and she was able to quickly pull it down.   Doesn't she look so happy about that accomplishment.

Livvy and Andi

These two love each other. Andi will get excited to Livvy but I think Livvy gets just as excited to see her after school. They play and talk together. They are both so cute.

Mirror Mirror

Yesterday, I took the girls shopping with me. I made Olivia come to help me with Andi while I looked for some new shirts. I went school shopping for everyone this year but me. I really needed/wanted some new shirts. Andi thought the store was great. She kept touching all the clothes and talking to everyone she saw. Jenn met us at the store. While I was trying on clothes Livvy had Andi out looking in the mirror. So cute to see her talk to the mirror and be so happy to see "another" baby.

8 Months Old

Our precious little girl is 8 months old today! She is so fun. She grabs everything and anything. We have to watch her closely now because she can get smaller things in mouth. I pulled out a sticker and a chocolate chip from her mouth. She still likes to snuggle to go to sleep but while she is trying to go to sleep, she wants to hold on to my hair.  Actually she loves to hold my hair all the time.  She is starting to move a little bit.  She can't crawl but she can move small distances by bending and stretching to get what she wants.  She talks in the morning to herself when she wakes up and she is so excited when you come to get her.   She now eats baby food twice a day and eats baby puffs whenever you want to give them to her.  She is trying to feed herself  with her fingers but she isn't always successful.  Devin said a couple days ago, "She is growing to fast! I don't want her to grow up!"  The other kids still adore her and want to spend time with her.  We love her so much.  She makes our home happier.

Keyboarding

Yep, that's right.  She see the keyboard.  It is slightly out of reach.  And what do you think she does...Moves to the keyboard!
Yep, she is definitely one of our children already loves gadgets.

Remembering our Lego Creations

Our boys love Legos. They love the Legos so much that they often build things and don't want to take them apart. The problem is that  soon your Lego supply is running low to make new creations. So for family home evening last week we took pictures of these creations so that the boys could always remember them and then took them apart. There were we a few creations we let them keep but now our Lego tub is full again and they can keep on building.

August Sayings

Devin: In the car, "I am trying to get the belt in the buckler."

Dad: "Tonight during mom's skirt party I'm taking you two boys out."
Garrett: "Where are we going?"
Dad (as a joke): "The dentist!"
Devin: "Yeaaaaaaaa!"
Garrett: "I'd rather buy a skirt."

Mom: Devin will you go hang up this coat in your closet.
Devin: But mom, I don't have a hooker.

Devin: Mom, Garrett acted like we weren't brothers. He wouldn't hold my hand at school.

Standing

Andi's new trick is to wiggle off my lap and stand by herself holding on to the couch. She is so proud of her accomplishments.

Marble Run

What do the kids do when they are grounded? Play with toys. They got out the marble run and Legos. I don't think they have ever built a tower so high before.
