Lagoon Day

For Fall Break, we used our Get Out Pass and went to Lagoon. We got there right when it opened, around 10:00, and we stayed until around 6.  The day started off cold and rainy, but it warmed up a little as the day went on.  We had a great time!  Glad Jenn could go with us.  She was willing to go on some of the rides with Andi and the boys that I didn't want to go on. 

 

Scarecrow Festival

We used our Thanksgiving Point pass to go to the Scarecrow festival.  They had some fun scarecrows set up. Some of them had been destroyed by the huge storm we had the night before. 

 

Going to the Zoo

 The zoo was doing a teacher appreciation week, and teachers could go to the zoo for free and get others in for half off.   The weather was perfect, the animals were active, and we had such a good time. 

They had 2 baby monkeys, a baby gorilla, and a baby giraffe.   They were so cute to see!

Going Shooting

Jeremy took the boys and met Toby and Nate to go do target practice.  That's a lot of firepower. 

 

Yoshi Pumpkin

 Andi wanted to make a Yoshi pumpkin for the School's Halloween pumpkin walk.  Jenn can over and helped us figure out how to do this.  I think he turned out pretty cute. 

Ruth Theater

 I found a deal to buy one get one free ticket to go see a play at the Ruth Theater.  We saw "Something Rotten" a musical about musicals and making fun of Shakespeare.   It was a fun play to watch. 

Devin's Field Trip

Devin went on a field trip with his Pro-Start Class.  They got to go to a chocolate factory, a pumpkin patch, and other businesses.  He had a great time.
