LA Trip Day 1: Santa Monica Pier

We drove Tuesday evening to Vegas, and then on Wednesday morning we got up and drove to LA.  Our first stop was the Santa Monica Pier.  This was a pier that Livvy often visited on her mission.  The first thing she wanted to do was to touch the sand and get her feet wet in the ocean. 

 I think we all enjoy the ocean! 

More Fall Colors

We decided to drive the Alpine Loop to get another look at all the spectacular fall colors.  Garrett was the only one who wanted to come with us.  

 

New Bike

Andi has been begging for a bike for a long time.  I finally went and got her a bike and we have spent the last couple of days practicing and teaching her to ride the bike.  She is getting pretty good at it.   She said she had a dream that she was was the fastest bike rider ever.  

 

Saratoga Springs Fall Fair.

 I took Andi and Devin to the fall fair.  They rode the train, and then we went trick or treating at all the booths that were set up by different businesses in the community.  There was also a petty zoo and bounce house there that Andi played on.  It was a perfect fall evening for these activies. 

Fall Colors Provo Canyon

We drove up Provo Canyon to see the Fall Colors.  We went to Squaw Peak and saw some people with the Hang Gliders taking off.  It was pretty cool to watch and the colors were pretty.  

 

Family Photo Shoot

 Sunday in between General conference sessions we went to Hidden Falls and Ryan helped us to take some pictures.  I think we got some pretty good shots. 

Livvy and Ryan went to General Conference

Livvy and Ryan got the opportunity to go to the Conference center in Salt Lake to see the general conference this year.  

Home Depot Kid Workshop

 Andi had her date night this month.  We decided to take her to the Home Depot Kid workshop. She got to make a little wooden boat.  We had done this with the other kids when they were younger but had never done it with Andi.  She loves making things and she was thrilled to make the boat with Jere's help. We spay painted it when we got home.
