Lagoon Afternoon/Evening

We spent the afternoon doing more rides.  My favorite was the sky lift where you rode the lift over the park. It was fun to people watch, and to read all the tomb stones that were set our for Fright mares.    We ended the day with Andi's favorite the octopus.

The sad thing is that Andi loves all the kiddie rides but she was 1 inch away from being too tall.  Next time we go she will be too tall and won't be able to go one these rides.

Lagoon After Lunch: Getting Wet

We went to the rattlesnake rapids and and log ride.  We rode the rattle snake rapids 3 times in a row and we were drenched.  Well Everyone except Andi, she wore a poncho and Jeremy only rode it once so he could get out and take pictures.  It was so much fun to see who would get wet and and end up under the waterfall.   I stayed wet the rest of the day.   I took off my shoes at one point to wring out all the water in them.

Lagoon before Lunch

We met back up and Garrett took Andi on a few rides and Jenn and I went and did the Dragon ride together.
Devin and Jeremy were still out doing other rides.  This was Jeremy's Least favorite ride.

Andi loved doing these little car rides, space ship rides, boat rides
She loved these swings.

Lagoon Morning

We got to Lagoon right when they opened so we could get a picnic spot and to hopefully be able to do some ride without too much weight time in lines.

Andi and I split from the group and we stayed in Kiddie land and did lots of fun rides. The Octopus where you try to avoid getting hit with water or in our case we tried we to get wet, was our favorite.   The others went on the bigger rides that Andi and I didn't want to go on.

Healing Field

I saw that in Sandy that had a 9-11 memorial that had set up 1500 flags. One for each person who died during 9-11.  I went with my friend Aimee.  Each flag had a tag on it that had information about a person that died that day.  It was a very somber experience.  It was beautiful to see all the flags and to remember the ones who died that horrible day.

Gardens with a Friend

My friend, Aimee, and I went to the Gardens today on my day off work.  It was nice and beautiful to walk around the gardens.  We had a good day together.  We went to the Gardens, then went to Burgess Farm to get peaches, and the we went to the Healing Field that was a memorial to the 9-11 victims.   Then we went out to lunch.  It was such a fun day, just being with a friend and talking and having fun. I am so grateful to have such a good friend.

Timpanogas Temple

We were able to go the temple on Saturday.  It was the 20th anniversary of 9-11 and that day 20 years ago was horrible.  The feelings that remembering are sad and scary.   I will always remember those who died on this  horrible day, but it was nice to go into the temple and serve the lord and feel the peace that you feel in the temple and remember the savior.

Rainbow

It has been so hot and smokey lately.  But the other day we had a rainstorm and before the storm hit, we looked out our window and saw this beautiful rainbow.  This picture doesn't do it justice.  But it is a reminder that good things are to come even when things fell dark and smokey.

Hats and Legos

Andi at school did a stem lesson and had to build a hat.  She brought home the materials and worked really hard on her hat made from paper plates, string, aluminum foil and clips.   She is very proud of her creation.

Garrett choose to build have us all build things with Legos for our Family Night Activity.   I can't remember the last time we did this.  It was fun and there was no fighting.  We would help each other try to find the pieces we needed.
