Day 4: Fort Desoto North Beach

We were going to go to Clearwater Beach this day, but several people told us how crazy busy it was and how it was wall to wall people. So we decided to go back to Fort Desoto.  The park has two beaches so we went to the other beach.    It was also an amazing beach.  The sand is so soft it makes it hard to walk in because he sink into the sand. 

We went snorkeling and the boys found several more Sand dollars. This time we were extra careful not to break any.   Also we saw some live sand dollars.  That was pretty cool.  Garrett said that this was his favorite part was snorkeling and finding all the sand dollars.   As they were looking for the sand dollars 2 dolphins swam pretty close to Jeremy and the boys.   Jeremy said that was his favorite part of the week.   Andi said that her favorite part was spending time with her "Familia" on the beach and in the water. 

Afterward we went out to eat at Chilis.  We are all pretty hungry after a day on the beach. 

 

Day 3: St Pete's Beach, Parasailing, Alligators and a Sunset Cruise

This was a bit busier day. We. started the day at St. Pete's Beach.  It was a gorgeous beach with amazing sand.  It was more crowded than the other beach.  We stayed here for a couple of hours.  

Then we drove to Maderina Beach to go Parasailing.  Jeremy and the Boys went parasailing and  Andi, Grandma, and Grandpa and I just enjoyed being on a motor boat.  Devin said this was his favorite part of the trip.  Andi was sad she didn't get to go up, but we were afraid she would have been too scared.  She is really afraid of heights.  The boys said they saw Sea Turtle when they were up there. 

Afterwards we stopped for Ice Cream and then went to an Alligator Encounter.  The kids got to hold and feed the alligators. 

Then we went to go and get pizza for dinner and then we went on a sun set cruise.   I think the sunset may have been my favorite part. 

 

Day 2: LA Vistor's Center Tour

 

Olivia couldn't be on our vacation but we got to call her on Monday and she asked us if she could give us a tour the next day at 9:00 o'clock our time (6 o'clock her time.).  Olivia and her Companion Sister Sieta.   They gave us a tour and showed us the beautiful visitor center and the LA temple.  It was so nice to get to talk to her.  I think that may have been one of Grandma's highlight to her trip.
