Bridge Walk

This year we had the opportunity to go on A bridge walk under the bridge. We had harnesses and we walked the mile and half under the bridge. The highest point was 890 ft. It was beautiful and a little frightening to be up there. It was a lot of fun to see the river and bridge from a new perspective. We even saw a peregrine falcon.

ACE

On Wednesday evening they have a family night where it is only 5 dollars per person to get in and use all the water toys and play on the beach. It is a lot of fun. The kids love it. We went twice while we were there. The kids all have to wear life jackets on the toys so you can just let them go and play. Andi and I were content to stay on the beach. They have floaties that you can float on and Andi would sit on one of them and Mom, Emily and I would push her back and forth. She would laugh then when she got to go she would give you kiss. It was so cute.

Stephen's Lake

We usually go to Summersville Lake but due to the Flooding that took place in WV this year, Summersville was closed so we went to Stephen's lake. It was a fun lake with some play toys and a splash pad. I could stay at the lake all day.

S'mores

One of our favorite things to do in WV is to build a fire and cook s'mores. I don't even like them but I love sitting around the fire hanging out with the family. Of course my Dad burns the marshmellows.

We're going to WV

We are finally on the plane to WV two days later than originally expected. Our first flight got cancelled. It was a nice smooth flight.  We were spread out all over the plane.  I had to do some seat changes with other people to have a few seats together to sit with the younger two.
